Miniature circuit breakers (MCB)

Miniature circuit breakers (MCB) represent electrical switches with automatic operation, designed to protect electrical consumers from current overload or short circuit. They are used as devices for commutation and control of electrical circuits. MCB are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of Standard EN 60 898-1, EN 60 898-2. They are offered in the following series: С60N; C40N and C100M with different number of poles and breaking curve B, C, D. С60N series is designed for rated current from 1 to 63A with breaking capacity 6000A, as it is also offered in a type for direct current and breaking curves B and C; С40N series is offered for rated current from 5 to 63A, breaking capacity 4500A and breaking curve C. С100N series is designed for rated current from 80 to 100A, breaking capacity 10 000A and breaking curves C and D. All miniature circuit breakers are made in plastic corpuses of not keeping the burning material, UV rays endurance. They endure 2000V impulse voltage. It is possible to add auxiliary devices to broaden their functional capacity and remote circuit breaking. Circuit breakers DP1N (1P+N) series is specially designed for simultaneous breaking of the zero and phase conductor, as the phase conductor circuit is protected with thermal and overcurrent protection, and the zero conductor circuit breaks purely mechanically at phase conductor operation.
