High capacity circuit breakers (MCCB)
High capacity circuit breakers (MCCB) represent automatic pneumatic breaker in moulded corpus. They are designed to function as a main breaker in electrical distribution boxes, control and protect from short circuit and current overload high power electrical consumers. They provide reliable circuit breaking at voltage up to 690V and current commutation from 40 to 1600A. The following series of circuit breakers are designed: DS-1; DS-2 and DS1- electrical type. All circuit breakers are manufactured in accordance with Standard EN 60 947-1, EN 60 947-2. DS1 series is offered for rated current from 40 to 800A, as it endures 8000V impulse voltage and maximum breaking capacity at 400V from 25 to 75kA. DS1 breakers have electrical endurance of 10 000 cycles and mechanical – 20 000 cycles. All breakers from the series can be supplied with additional devices (under voltage release, auxiliary contact, shunt release, remote control) which broaden their application. DS2 series is offered for rated current from 63 to 1250A for rated operating voltage 400V. It endures 6000V impulse voltage and maximum breaking capacity from 18 to 85kA. The mechanical endurance for DS2 is 10 000, and the electrical endurance is 6 000 cycles. DS1 breakers with electrical block provide possibility for fine adjustment of short circuit current and overload from 0.4 to 1.0In. It is possible to set time delay, the value of short circuit current and overload and breaking curves in the electrical block. These breakers have electrical endurance 10 000 cycles, and mechanical – 20 000. They are offered for rated current from 400 to 1600A. The plastic of all circuit breakers is made of not keeping the burning material, UV rays endurance and the insulation voltage is 2000V.
